It is important to understand the route and difference between Foundation and Diploma programmes when planning your pathway to a Bachelor’s degree.
A Foundation programme is a one-year academic route that prepares students for direct entry into specific undergraduate programmes, usually within the same university. It focuses more on theoretical and academic preparation suited for those who are clear about their chosen field of study.
A Diploma programme, on the other hand, offers a more practical and skill-based approach over two to two and a half years, and graduates may enter the workforce or proceed directly into the second year of a related degree programme.
