Aside from UPU, few Public Universities are now open direct entry routes through a special channel aimed at providing other alternatives, especially for qualified Malaysian and international candidates.

    Unlike UPU, the application through the Direct Channel does not require the consideration of applicant's merit points for admission.

    Applicants do not have to compete for the programme and university of their choice as is the case at UPU. This is because there are many candidates will apply for programmes at UPU Online, especially in popular fields such as Medicine, Law, Engineering and others.
