USM+1: A Flexible Pathway to a USM Bachelor’s Degree
USM+1 is an alternative admission track offered by Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) that allows qualified students to pursue their Bachelor’s Degree directly at USM, outside of the traditional UPU admission route. Through this channel, programmes from various fields of study are offered to applicants who are interested in pursuing studies for semester 1 or 2 of the academic session. Programmes offered through USM+1 are implemented on a full fee basis without subsidy.
USM+1 includes some of the university’s most sought-after fields such as Health Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Communication, and Management — all designed to equip students with real-world skills and strong career prospects.
