The University of Cyberjaya (UoC) is a private institution in Malaysia, founded in 2005 under the name Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences (CUCMS). It is located in Cyberjaya, Selangor, which is Malaysia’s “smart-city,” known for its technology hubs and modern infrastructure.
Originally focused on health sciences, its earliest academic offerings were in medicine and pharmacy. Over time, the university expanded its programmes to include allied health sciences, psychology, business, safety & health, traditional & complementary medicine, nursing, and more.
In 2019, CUCMS was officially upgraded to full university status, becoming the University of Cyberjaya. Under its current leadership, UoC has emphasised employability, modern academic facilities, global partnerships, and impact in rankings such as QS and Times Higher Education. The institution operates a green, eco-friendly campus and serves students from many countries.
