Since its establishment as a technical school in 1904 and finally a full-fledged university in 1972, UTM has played a pivotal role over the years as the nation’s largest contributor of technical and professional workforce for the local industry, government agencies as well as multinational companies. It is located both in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, known as the UTM Kuala Lumpur Campus, and in Johor Bahru, which is its main campus, situated in a strategic location in the Iskandar Malaysia region, a vibrant economic corridor in the south of Peninsular Malaysia.
UTM UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMME (PART-TIME)
UTM offers part-time undergraduate degree programmes tailored for working adults seeking career advancement and self-development.Designed for flexibility, these programmes cater to applicants with STPM, Diploma, APEL, or equivalent qualifications, and class sessions are held during weekends to accommodate working professionals, allowing you to balance work, study, and personal commitments.
Programmes are offered at various UTM campuses and Learning Centres across Malaysia, including Johor Bahru, Kuala Lumpur, and other designated learning centers, depending on programme availability. UTM's part-time programmes provide a supportive learning environment with practical, career-focused content, equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their professional fields.
